keep silk sheets on bed

I believe that when you buy silk sheets, you must be attracted by the smooth and soft qualities of silk. As an all-natural fabric, it's perfect for your skin and hair, giving you the most comfortable sleep possible.

But silk sheets that are too smooth can move around and slip on the floor, and you can be annoying. Rest assured that you are not the first to encounter this problem, and we will provide you with several solutions that will make you feel comfortable with silk without having to worry about it.

1. Use elastic bed straps to secure the sheets

  • Choose a flexible bed belt according to the size of your bed.
Place the bed straps on the top and bottom of the mattress like a large rubber band is placed on the mattress.
  • Place stretch straps on the bottom and top of the mattress.
Stretch one strap to expose the turn button on the side of the mattress. Slide the strap over one side of the top of the mattress, move it over and under the mattress, and pull the strap down on the other side so that the strap fits over the mattress. Stretch and place the second strap on the bottom, the straps should be about 1 foot (30 cm) above and below the mattress.
  • Put a suitable size sheet on the bed.
Lay the sheet on the bed as usual, then place the sheet on the straps so that the sheet attaches and aligns with the swivel button.
  • The knob button locks the silk sheets.
The bed comes with knob buttons suitable for locking, push buttons placed on the sheets to hold them in place. Lay the rest of the sheets on the bed as normal to lock the sheets to the bed.You can also place the elastic band diagonally under the entire mattress in an "X" to secure the sheet.

2. Use the boom to secure the bed sheet

  • Fix the corners of the silk sheets with suspenders.
Using slings with metal clips or plastic locks, pass through the corners of the sheets so that a rotary button is in place on the other side, locking them in the corners, about 6" (15cm) on either side of the corner seam, Tuck the sling under the mattress.
  • Cut off a length and width of the appropriate elastic band.
Our suggestion: Cut a length of elastic band about 6 inches (15 cm) long and about an inch (2.5 cm) wide.
  • Mark the position of the elastic band on both sides of the corner seam of the bed sheet. Stretch one corner of the silk sheet, about 6 inches (15 cm) on each side of the corner, and mark the straightened sheet with a small safety pin.
  • Use a safety pin to fasten the elastic band to the sheet.
Do one at each corner of the mattress, then place the sheet on the bed, attaching elastic bands at each mark, which should pull each corner together.

3. Use non-slip carpet pads to secure silk sheets

  • Place non-slip carpet pads on the four corners of the mattress.
Place one under each corner of the mattress and make sure it fits securely.
  • Straighten the silk sheets and lay them flat.
Lay on the sheets as usual to keep them from moving around the corners, the stickiness of the pads keeps the sheets in place. If you find it convenient this way, you can use foam bases, they are also effective at preventing the sheets from slipping and keeping the sheets taut.

4. Use zippered sheets (recommended for infants and children)

  • Wrap the mattress with a zippered sheet.
The zippered sheet has a zippered top and bottom, the bottom sheet you only need to wear once.
  • The top of the sheet will pull apart, so you can change it as needed.
  • The zippered sheet wraps your mattress and should hold everything securely in place.

5. Use rough sheets

Place a rougher sheet under the silk sheet. Such as flannel or wool to prevent the top sheet from scratching, but this is not recommended if you have sensitive skin or are prone to overheating.

TIPS

  • Pay attention to the material of the sheets.
Sheets of satin, bamboo or some kind of blend fabric, they keep slipping and there is nothing you can do about them. So when buying silk sheets, check the labels carefully.
  • Choose a silk bed sheet of the right size.
When you're planning to buy a new sheet, pay close attention to the size of your mattress. If you don't know the size of your mattress, you can measure it with a tape measure first. An important point when purchasing is: the bed sheet should go beyond the depth of the mattress. We have simple suggestions here, if your mattress is between 7-14 inches thick and more than 14 inches deep, please choose 11-17 inches for silk sheets; if your extra-deep mattress is more than 15 inches, please choose silk sheets Choose 15-22 inches.
  • Tuck the silk sheets to avoid slipping.
Tuck the sheet completely under the mattress to keep the sheet in place.

We have a variety of solutions for the problem of silk sheets that keep slipping. According to your actual situation, choose the most suitable one and take action, I believe you will not worry about this anymore!
